Security policy

All Consensus staff are subject to a detailed Information Security Policy and mandatory annual policy training. Our password policy requires all staff to maintain strong, unique passwords which must be changed at least every 3 months. Remote access to the network can be achieved using one of several systems, all of which are encrypted and require two form authentication (password and token-based, constantly changing pin).

All suppliers who come into contact with our data, or the data of our clients, are required to sign confidentiality agreements. All other suppliers are bound by our Terms and Conditions, copies of which are attached to client/supplier agreements, and which require them also to conform to the 1998 Data Protection Act.

Research practices

Consensus is ISO 20252 registered, the international standard developed for the market research industry. This is awarded by Marketing Quality Assurance Ltd (MQA) who are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Market Research Society (MRS) Code of Conduct.

Fair Data

As a Fair Data organisation, you can trust that we will manage and treat your personal data with respect. We will collect, store and manage it in an unbiased and secure way. We will only use your personal data for purposes that we have informed you about and sought your consent for. We will always be transparent about the personal data we collect and how we use it.
