Pension Funds Survey
Understand the requirements of some of your largest institutional investors – the pension funds
How much direct contact do you have with funds themselves? Are you confident you know how to meet the needs of this sector?
The turbulent stock market, the continuing closure of final salary pensions, the 'pensions crisis' and the upcoming pensions reforms are leading to sweeping changes in the way trustees and managers run their pension schemes.
In this rapidly changing landscape, it's more important than ever to gain answers to important questions about your products, marketing and communications strategy for the pension funds sector.
The Consensus Pension Funds Survey will enable you to understand in detail:
- Who really takes the investment decisions – and how?
- How aware are trustees of the different fund managers? Which do they use, and why?
- What are their preferred channels of communication? What publications do they read? What events do they attend?
- What should fund managers do to increase brand awareness?
- What is their view of specific fund managers in the institutional market?
- What is their view of the future for pensions and the role fund managers might play?
The primary target audience is trustees of UK defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) occupational pension schemes. Investment consultants that advise trustees on investment decisions will also be included.
A total of 150 interviews (100 schemes, 50 consultants) interviews will be conducted by our specialist interviewing unit Kudos Elite. The first wave of this survey is planned for Spring 2010 (with subsequent waves every six months).
This is a syndicated survey. Consensus has an unmatched reputation for running syndicated research in the funds investment market – its Investment Funds Survey is about to reach its 50th wave, and is bought by the leading names in the business.
We are currently in discussions with syndicate members about the design of the Spring 2010 wave. To learn more about the detailed question set, to have your say in the research planning, and for subscription information, please contact
